The middle section where a bridge would have fit nicely is filled with the sounds of machine guns, planes and explosions followed by a bass riffing back into the last verse. The vocals on this one are definitely twisted through some sort of filtering - perhaps through a Moog along with the pitch shifted feel.įollowing this tune is Draft Morning with the same laid back feeling of Goin' Back but with a much different subject - the Vietnam War. Next up is a country/psychedelic sort of tune in Natural Harmony. It echoes the sentiment of My Back Pages from YTY a bit. feeling is custom made for a daydream afternoon. I've read where Crosby did not want to cut this tune, but it would be a shame if they hadn't.
